Our Story

In the past 4 years, weve been used to packing people into rooms, around the world, and sharing a story or two. Our retellings of ORPHEUS and EURYDICE have toured extensively in the UK, and internationally, playing anywhere we can. In cafes, pubs, shops, cinemas, tents, yoga studios, railway arches, beaches, gardens, boats, living rooms, and the very occasional theatre.

Following the success of Grainger / Wrights series of shows retelling ancient greek myths, (Orpheus, Eurydice, The Gods The Gods The Gods) the pair now team up with long time collaborator and friend Oliver Tilney to create a brand new piece of work. 

HALF MAN || HALF BULL is created for a moment in time when we cannot come together in a theatre. We can’t come to where you are and share a story. So we’ve made a double narrative album, reimagining the stories of Daedalus & Icarus, and Theseus & the Minotaur, 20 songs, telling 2 stories to be listened to in the comfort of your own home, or wherever you choose.
